The roadshow will be stopping at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre (DRTCC) in just a few days' time.
Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre manager Linda Christof says the region has played host to some belly-laughing acts in recent weeks, but the Melbourne International Comedy Festival is sure to be up there with one of the funniest.
"We're really excited to be able to bring this hilarious show to the region," she said.
"The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is one of the most well-known and popular comedy shows in the country, and to have the it coming to the Dubbo is really great for our region."
With a line-up of Australian stars and talented newcomers, residents can expect to buckle in for a night of stand-up, sketch, satire, silliness and song to satisfy all comedy cravings.
The show will be hosted by Sam Taunton who will be joined by Floyd Alexander-Hunt, Nikki Britton, Randy Feltface and Takashi Wakasugi.
"I think everyone is due for a good belly laugh after the past 15 months, demonstrated by the strong ticket sales for comedy generally," Ms Christoff said.
"With recent events in Melbourne the tour was able to safely proceed with a slight change in star lineup."
