Mia, from Gulgong, was confined to a wheelchair during treatment for brain cancer in 2019, during which her mother Stacey stayed at RMH.
In May of 2020 Mia decided to give back to the RMH by participating in the annual fundraising event Dance For Sick Kids - raising more than 45,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

With the 2021 Dance for Sick Kids coming up from May 15 to May 21, Mia is asking residents to also do their bit by participating.
"Imagine finding yourself in a foreign environment, with so much around you that you know nothing about and a fear of what the future holds for your seriously ill child. Then on top of that, you have to find accommodation," Stacey said.
"Thankfully, we were taken care of by Ronald McDonald House."
