Dubbo mother Alice Miller is fighting to be by her daughter's side after a car crash which took the life of her husband Tim Miller earlier this month.
More than 280 donors have gotten behind the Miller family, garnering more than $29,830 in donations through a GoFundMe page.
Alice Miller said the support her and her daughter have received from the community, friends and family members has been 'overwhelming'.
"It just goes to show just how loved Tim was," Mrs Miller said.
"Our family has all gathered and together we are supporting each other through this tragic time.
"This is such a difficult time
"Never could I imagine being in a situation such as this.
"Having to choose between flying to John Hunter Hospital with my six-year-old daughter or say goodbye to my husband and life partner of 14 years.
"Although, I find peace in the decision knowing that if the situation were in reverse I would have wanted Tim to go with Zabella.
"Zabella has quite a road to recovery ahead, both physically and emotionally. She is a beacon of hope.
"She has a long road ahead of many specialist appointments and we hope, but will not know for some time, that she will make a full recovery.
"These donations will enable me to support her during this time, taking the pressure off returning to work.
"Tim and I believed that Zabella's needs come before anything else.
"Tim and I have never been the type of people to ask for help, I find it very difficult."
Mrs Miller is asking for everyone to continue respecting their privacy.
"While the doctors at Dubbo base were trying to save Tim's life they used quite a lot of donated blood, I am forever grateful to those who donated and I ask that anyone who is able, to please donate blood."
The GoFundMe page was created by Natalie Myers.
"Alice was a part of our Veldt Family for five years. Family help family," she said.
"Alice is an amazing mum and Tim was an amazing dad.
"They are so hardworking and devoted to their daughter Zabella and Alice deserves all the help she can get"
