Uber commenced in Dubbo and Wellington in June, of this year.
Dom Taylor, general manager of Rides Uber Australia and New Zealand said the community had been asking for Uber for a while.
"We are thrilled to be able to respond to this demand earlier in the year," he said.
"We are pleased with how everything is going and believe ride-sharing complements the existing transport network in the local area, as we know there's a limited supply of taxis particularly late at night and on the weekends."
The original roll-out of the service was postponed in March due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
But with eased restrictions and a renewed push to support domestic travel, Uber announced a rollout to regional NSW on June 26.
"We worked closely with Tourism and Transport Forum Australia on this expansion and had moved our plans forward to help support the #LoveNSW initiative to bring domestic and International tourism to the region," Mr Taylor said.
