This week we got word that both the cinema and the Dubbo Regional Theater and Convention Centre have dates to re-open their box offices once again.
It's more good news that we have been waiting to hear, as life slowly returns to normal.
And while things are far from over, and we all have to still be cautious, it's more good news for our economy to get things back on track.
Things will change.
As Linda Chrisof talks about in this month's Break a Leg column, the theater will no longer be accepting cash - though it was a move they were looking to make pre-pandemic anyway.
And the four-square meter rule applies, so there will probably be a few less people inside the cinema the first time you head along to see the next blockbuster.
But, entertainment is back - and that's a good thing.
As always, if you have anything you would like to comment on, I would love to hear from you - just email lynn.rayner@dailyliberal.com.au.
Have a great Sunday.
