The players are set to perform 'The Tin Woman' which is based on the true story of the character Joy as she struggles to accept being the recipient of a new heart.
Director of the production Rhonda Kerr said the show will take the audience through a range of emotions.
"It sounds like it's a very heavy depressing story," she said.
"Certainly there are a few dramatic scenes.
"However, there are also some lighter funny moments."

Ms Kerr said she was eager to see the strength of the performers on display in the production.
"I have been very lucky to have the return of a few people who have not been on stage for a while," she said.
"They will be also complimented by newer members.
"I would say it's the strongest in total cast I have seen in some time."
Like most people the Wesley House Players have struggled during COVID-19 and this is the third set of date which have been put forward for the production of the show.
"Rehearsing over zoom and google meet has been a challenge," Ms Kerr said.
"At one point we had our leading lady sitting in her sister's driveway to get service.
"So that was interesting."
Wesley House Players have been performing shows in Dubbo since 1969 and this is set to be their 95th production.
The players production of 'The Tin Woman' is on December 10-11, bookings can be made on they organisations website.
