It's been even more demanding for Dubbo twins Wyatt and Georgia Schubel, who have completed their year 11 and 12 studies in just one year.
The teenagers who are about to complete the HSC later this month say they wouldn't have it any other way.
"It was full on," Wyatt said.

Georgia - currently a member of the Army cadet unit here in Dubbo - hopes to further pursue a career with the Australian Defence Force specialising in intelligence or human resources.
Her brother Wyatt - who hopes to study medicine at university and specialise in neurology - says it's been rewarding to look back on what they had achieved.
The disciplined twins said inspiration to complete their studies in under a year came about during the first COVID-19 lockdown.
"We realised we were finished school each day around 10am or 12pm, and we realised there was a lot of time wasted," Wyatt said.
"For us, the more important thing is getting the work done and doing the studies and getting that certificate that at the end of the day lets you go on to further things.
"Once we realised we can do school a whole lot faster than we thought, then maybe we can get to our goals and dreams a year earlier."
The pair enquired and discovered TAFE NSW Digital - a flexible, remote study regime which allows students to work at their own pace.
In December 2020, the pair were required to complete their year 11 studies in eight weeks, before beginning their year 12 HSC studies.
"We were working in Year 11 from 7am to about 6pm, seven days a week, except for when we were at work," Wyatt said.
"For the first few weeks we we're a bit doubtful. But then we didn't have time to think, then we started finishing year 11 early, so we were just astounded by that and went onto year 12, and haven't looked back since."
For their final year, Wyatt took on advanced English and maths, along with chemistry, biology and PDH/PE, while Georgia studied advanced English, standard maths, PDH/PE, modern history, and business studies.
Through TAFE NSW Digital, teachers were remotely available to students, however the twins said it's been a real family affair, with parents Naomi - helping Georgia with her business studies, and Gary assisting Wyatt with chemistry.
The pair, who also work part-time at Chemist Warehouse, said their job has contributed to their learning, particularly for chemistry.
Overall Georgia and Wyatt have completed 78 and 79 assessments respectively, in just one year, and have already received multiple offers from universities, all while maintaining high grades.
HSC exams started for the pair last Tuesday, and both will finish later this month.
"As soon as the HSC is over we're going on a holiday. We're going to just rest, for what will feel like the first time in a year," Wyatt added.
