It was achieved with a flight for two-year-old Lilly Osborne and her mum Bianca flying from Hervey Bay to Melbourne to attend a monthly treatment for Lilly's cancer.
The flight which surpassed the 20 million kilometre milestone stopped at Dubbo City Regional Airport as volunteer pilot Paul Michel handed over his two passengers to counterpart Eric Keys to take them the rest of the way to Melbourne.
Ms Osborne said the flight went all according to plan and she was hoping both she and Lilly would not have to fly to appointments for much longer.
"We are looking forward to getting down to Melbourne," she said at Dubbo airport on Tuesday.
"Hopefully it is our last flight here."

As for Lilly, Ms Osborne said she was really well behaved during the flight and even managed to have a little nap.
"She went really well. She slept the majority of it," Ms Osborne said.
Mr Keys admitted he was pretty honoured to be part of the milestone flight.
"Thinking about this 20 million kilometres is something like 500 times around the planet," he said.
"It's an incredible distance.
"I'm just a small part of it.
"I'm relatively new to Angel Flight, I've been flying for about two years now."
Mr Keys feels pleased to be part of a charity such as Angel Flight Australia which provides a service to those who need it most like the Osbornes.
"It is a special organisation," he said.
"You get to meet people.
"In some situations, there are people who fall through the cracks of the health system.
"Some don't qualify for ambulances and they don't have access to medical treatments they need.
"Angel Flight sort of fills that gap.
"You fly people who need a helping hand."
