District commander, Superintendent Danny Sullivan said "every single one of these" was preventable.

"Please everyone focus on the public health order, it's all about staying at home to stop the spread in our community," he said.
Supt Sullivan said increased police patrols across the region were seeing more instances of drink-driving, which was the key factor in fatal motor vehicle crashes.
"It's also a choice, you control how much you put into your mouth, you also control when you get behind the wheel of a car," he said.
"We are out and about enforcing the public health order, but if you're out drinking and driving we'll be there to stop you as well.
"Please, this is not the time to increase pressure on our public health system."
