Daffodil Day falls on Friday, August 27. However, the day can be celebrated on any date during August.
Cancer Council Western NSW community relations coordinator Cassandra Sullivan said the COVID-19 outbreak meant things had to be a little different this year.

"Our flagship stalls are one of the most important ways that the community choose to support Daffodil Day, both through donations and by purchasing fresh daffodils," she said.
"If you are one of the wonderful people who would usually purchase fresh daffodils, we're counting on you to show your flower power in a different way and help save Daffodil Day."
There are three ways the community can support Daffodil Day: make a donation via the Daffodil Day website, become a Yellow Fundraiser and give something up for the month or join the Game for Good campaign and put your gaming skills towards a good cause.
