Drizzle on Tuesday morning may officially deliver above-average rain.
On Tuesday morning the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) advised of 33.8mm being collected at Dubbo City Regional Airport this month including 28.8 mm in the 24 hours to 9am Tuesday.

Rain had been collected across 10 days this month but prior to Monday the biggest fall was 2.8mm in the 24 hours to 9am August 12.
The BoM predicted a 90 per cent chance of rain on Tuesday.
Its seven-day forecast as of Tuesday included a 40 per cent chance of up to 1mm of rain falling on Friday, a 30 per cent chance of up to 1mm on Sunday and a 30 per cent chance of up to 0.4mm on Monday.
