It's something the South Sydney Rabbitohs have remembered, as well.
The Rabbitohs were hammered 56-12 by the Penrith Panthers in front of more than 10,000 fans at Apex Oval on May 23.
It was a third successive loss for the Rabbitohs and after a 50-0 thumping at the hands of Melbourne just two weeks prior it appeared the Wayne Bennett-coached side's season was in real trouble.
But things have changed in a big way since then.

The Rabbitohs meet the Panthers again on Friday night and they head into that match with what hooker Damien Cook says is a "different defensive mindset".
Since the defeat at Dubbo, the Rabbitohs have won 10 successive matches.
They've scored at least 38 points in six of those and, more importantly, have only conceded more than 22 points once.
"We've changed a few things around in our structure and how we defend as well," Cook said to NRL.com this week.
"I think that's been working really well for us ... this will be the biggest test for us this year so far and we'll be able to actually see how good this defensive process that we've got goes this weekend against a quality side like Penrith before we go into the finals.
"There were a couple of games before [Dubbo] we won and we lost a couple of close ones as well, so it probably didn't highlight the issue too much. But that [loss] definitely did that.
"Especially talking about the Penrith and the Melbourne game as well, we lost to big scores. We had to make a quick change and pretty much after the Penrith game is where we had to do that.
"Hopefully, this weekend we can see the improvement."
The battle between the Rabbitohs and Panthers headlines round 23.
The two sides are locked on 38 points, just one win off the competition-leading Melbourne, and the winner of Friday's match will move into outright second.
Kick-off is 8.05pm at Suncorp Stadium.
