Ballimore Progress Association secured $11,500 across two rounds of Dubbo Regional Council's Financial Assistance Program to pay for the barbecue.
"This group has been extremely active in advocating for their community and it's extremely rewarding to see them enjoying a sausage or two, cooked on their very own accessible, electric barbecue," acting mayor Stephen Lawrence said.

Association member Harold Knight said families would no longer have to wheel their own barbecues to the park for the likes of birthday parties.
"The barbecue is a great addition to the park which now has a playground and toilet facility," he said.
"We will keep our eye out for more funding to install an accessible path system."
"We'd like to thank Dubbo Regional Council for the funding and the assistance to install the barbecue which is going to be extremely well utilised by our community."
Council staff recently met members of the Ballimore Progress Association to test out the new facilities.
They grilled sausages to mark the successful completion of the project.
The next round of the council's Financial Assistance Program will open in September.
