The cyclist that may have been selected have instead been recognised for their achievements by being invited to an intensive training camp in Adelaide, the home of the Australian Cycling Team, where they were presented with Australian representative uniform. Dubbo Cycle Clubs Danny Barber, Dylan Eather, Haylee Fuller and Tyler Puzicha have been in Adelaide this week, along with Bathurst Cycling Clubs Kalinda Robinson.
This is intended to provide them with a platform to develop with a platform to develop into elite ranks on the Australian Representative cycling scene.

After injury hampered his 2020 campaign Dylan Eather took out the U19 Scratch race championship with a Silver medal in the Time Trial, while also finishing fourth in the Individual Pursuit. His Individual pursuiting ability makes him a valuable asset in the Team Pursuit.
Tyler Puzicha is another sprinter who regularly featured in the medals at the National Championships. With a gold in the Team Sprint and podium finishes in the Time Trial and Sprint Puzicha's speed is integral to the Team Sprint events where she would join with Bathurst's Kalinda Robinson.
Former U19 Australian Road champion, Haylee Fuller's road endurance pedigree transfers well onto the track endurance events. Her 2020 Australian Points race gold medal had selectors interested and her consistent performances in the 2021 championships saw Fuller included as a valuable member of the endurance squad.
The selection of the four riders is an endorsement of the program coordinated by Dubbo Cycle club coaches Gus Dawson and Vaughn Eather. The pair have spent many years developing these cyclists and the fact that four Dubbo U19 riders have been selected in an Australian squad of twenty is testament to their dedication.
A welcome addition to the Dubbo coaching staff is former Australian representative sprinter Andrew Taylor who has been working closely with Barber and Puzicha.
