The seminar, hosted by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, will help pilots learn how to make the right decisions.
CASA's Peter Gibson said accidents happened when pilots flying visually got into deteriorating weather and ongoing education was "essential".

"Local pilots will learn more about how to assess weather before and during flight, how to plan for weather and how to make good decisions," he said.
The seminar will be held at the Dubbo Aero Club on Tuesday, March 16.
