After temporarily closing last year due to the pandemic, Vinnies Dubbo has reopened with COVID-safe measures in place.
"We have a lovely group of volunteers who have been able to make a positive impact in the local community," said Karen Heidke, Vinnies NSW retail area manager.
"For a lot of us, the events of the past year have highlighted the importance of community and looking out for people in need.
"Working in a Vinnies shop is a great chance to meet excellent people and you get the satisfaction that the sales are used to support people who fall on hard time."

Ms Heidke said early next week, those wishing to volunteer could receive forms from the store with help being needed in a variety of different areas.
"As from Monday, there will be expression of interest forms at the front counter with the girls and we have several parts, you've got your retail and service to customers and there is sorting out the back and pricing items, mainly the shop and sorting the items is where we are shortest at the moment," she said.
"We raise money to assist communities and people who are in need can go to Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Vincent de Paul will do everything they can, from domestic violence to homelessness, all of that sort of stuff we have mechanisms to deal with that, it's just support in our communities Australia-wide."
Vinnies operates 237 retail shops throughout NSW which offer a diverse range of pre-loved items for customers to purchase. Sales from Vinnies shops are used to fund support services offering food, clothing, financial aid, crisis accommodation and other assistance.
Volunteering requires people to donate a few hours of their time each week to help with roles including customer service, sorting donations and maintaining the day-to-day running of the shop.
