Police are appealing for information after a number of vehicles were stolen from Dubbo over the weekend.

About 4.30am on Sunday, officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District responded to reports of a vehicle fire on Railway Lane, Wongarbon.
Police arrived to find the vehicle, a 2015 orange Colorado, destroyed by fire.

Following inquiries, police confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from a home on Macgregor Drive in Dubbo, sometime between 10pm on Saturday and the time it was found alight.
About 8.30am the same day, police received reports a 2017 Toyota Hilux had also been stolen from a business on Blueridge Road, Dubbo.
The vehicle was recovered on Rosedale Road, near Minor Road at Dubbo, about 8.30am on Monday.
Between 11.30pm on Sunday and 2.30am on Monday, a black 2008 Toyota Aurion, registration AU34HH, was stolen from a home on Sunset Way, Dubbo.
Police were told the keys to the vehicle were stolen from inside the home.
The vehicle remains outstanding.
Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District are reminding members of the community to ensure their vehicles are locked and secured when parked at residences, and that keys to vehicles are not easily accessible.
