St Johns College Dubbo graduate James Joseph achieved the highest ATAR among 466 students who studied for the HSC at Catholic Diocese of Bathurst secondary schools in 2020.

He has been invited to a diocesan HSC awards ceremony in Orange on Wednesday, February 3, along with 90 other graduates and their families.
Mr Joseph topped the 2020 cohort with an ATAR of 99.85.

Isabel Francis from James Sheahan Catholic High School in Orange came second with 99.15, and Charles Moses from St Stanislaus' College in Bathurst third with 98.15.
Mr Joseph was also one of three students in the diocese to be named all-round achievers for scoring band six in 10 units.
The ceremony at Orange Civic Theatre on Wednesday will celebrate both academic and non-academic achievements.
The other secondary schools in the diocese are La Salle Academy in Lithgow, MacKillop College in Bathurst, St Matthews Catholic School in Mudgee, and St Raphael's Catholic School in Cowra.
