The Bureau of Meteorology's (BoM) seven-day forecast for Dubbo as of Wednesday reported of the possibility of small showers across the period.
Thunderstorms were also on the cards on Wednesday, as well as Monday and Tuesday next week.

The BoM was predicting a 40 per cent chance of rain on Wednesday and the same chance of the city receiving up to 2mm on Thursday.
Its seven-day forecast also included a 30 per cent chance of up to 1mm of rain falling on Friday, up to 0.4mm on Saturday, up to 1mm on Sunday and up to 1mm on Monday.
Dubbo has a 40 per cent chance of getting up to 4mm on Tuesday.
Most of the 50mm of rain fell in the 24 hours to 9am January 3 when 37.6mm of rain was collected in the automatic weather station at Dubbo City Regional Airport.
The BoM recorded 3.8mm falling the day before and 8.6mm in the 24 hours to 9am January 5.
Despite a dry three weeks, January 2021 has delivered more rain to date than all of January 2020.
A total of 36mm fell in January last year including 15.6mm in the 24 hours to 9am January 7.
Meanwhile, the city will get a short reprieve from the heat on Thursday, Friday and Monday.
The average maximum temperature in the city in January is 33.7 degrees Celsius.
On Wednesday morning, Dubbo had chalked up six days straight of above-average temperatures including 38.3 degrees on Tuesday.
The BoM is forecasting a top temperature of 32 degrees on Thursday and Friday, and 30 degrees on Tuesday.
Daytime temperatures on Saturday, Sunday and Monday are predicted to be 34, 35 and 36 degrees, respectively.
