The hillbilly slide is a hit with older children who also like to run up and down a grass mound in the area designed for them.
A "variety of people of all ages" are using the fitness equipment in the seniors section of the playground owned by Dubbo Regional Council.

A Liberty swing and disability-friendly change room are encouraging people of all ages and abilities to come to the playground and its cafe, a council spokesman says.
The council reports the playground is busiest during school holidays and weekends.
"..it's wonderful to see so many locals and visitors using and being respectful of the space," its spokesman said.
The state government injected $1.3 million into the project.
