Dubbo's seven-day forecast includes 38-degree heat late next week
Idyllic summer days in Dubbo are coming to an end with daytime temperatures forecast to peak at 38 degrees Celsius at the end of next week.
Maximum temperatures in the first week of January 2021 have been below the average for the month of 33.7 degrees. On Friday morning the average top temperature for January 2021 was 28.8 degrees.

But the Bureau of Meteorology's seven-day forecast as of Friday reveals the heat is returning.
Below-average temperatures of 29 and 32 degrees are predicted for Saturday and Sunday, respectively, followed by 34 degrees on Monday, 37 degrees on Tuesday and 38 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.
The city's January 2021 rain tally of 50 millimetres may not grow by much next week with only a 20 per cent chance of a shower on Thursday.
