The test rate for COVID-19 in the Dubbo region has risen slightly since an alert was issued for Orange, Nyngan and Broken Hill on Tuesday.

NSW Health data shows the rate in the Dubbo region increased from 31 to 32 per 1000 people in the 24 hours to 8pm Wednesday with 64 people tested.
The Western NSW Local Health District's rate rose from 31 to 33 with 759 people tested in the same period.
Orange's rate jumped from 49 to 57 with 333 residents tested.
Broken Hill's rate climbed from 33 to 41 with 142 people tested.
Data for Nyngan was not provided.
The alert was in response to a visit to the communities by a Sydneysider who later tested positive to COVID-19.
