Over 2,000 residents were in attendance on the night to enjoy the event, complete with a fireworks display at 9pm.
The event was organised and hosted by the Dubbo Show Society Inc. Dubbo Show Society Inc president Wesley Temessel said they were allowed to host up to 3,000 people due to COVID-19 restrictions, but despite having had all 3,000 spots taken up by registrations, only 2,156 people attended.
"We're really happy with how the event went," Mr Temessel said
"But it's sad that only 2,156 people of the anticipated 3,000 came on the night as those who missed out on the registrations could have taken those spots."
The event raised more than $3,000, some of which will go towards covering next this year's expenses.
Ashleigh Baker, who attended the event with her partner and son, said this year's firework display was 'the best one yet'.
All the kids around us had massive smiles on there faces and it was just magical to see all the community come together again.

Miss Baker said her nine-year-old son Oscar told her he thought the display was 'amazing' and 'very colourful, just like a rainbow'.
Positive feedback has been shown by the community across social media platforms, setting the bar high for next year's display. "My son told me after the display that he can't wait until next years fireworks," Mrs Baker said.
