The conference for up-and-coming farmers will be held in Dubbo on May 27 and 28.
NSW Agriculture Minister Adam Marshall said he strongly encouraged young farmers or fishers, or anyone who aspired to be one, to attend.
"The conference is a great opportunity for like-minded young farmers and fishers to learn more about the drivers of successful primary production businesses, the support services available and practical steps to achieve their business goals," Mr Marshall said.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
"The Young Farmer Business Program collaborates with industry professionals to break down the barriers that young farmers and fishers may experience when entering or expanding their business."
He said the conference was a great way to hear from experts about business management, succession and finance, while also providing an invaluable opportunity to network with other young professionals.
"Last year more than 300 people attended the inaugural conference in Dubbo and we are hoping to have an even bigger event in 2021 while ensuring the event is COVID-safe," Mr Marshall said.
Dubbo MP Dugald Saunders said the Young Farmer Business Program was a great way for any young farmer or fisher to get ahead in the game.
"Conference participants will visit local farms to see practical examples of running a successful business and learn first-hand from innovative farming enterprises and I couldn't imagine a more suitable centre to host such an important and positive conference than Dubbo."
