A man has faced Dubbo Local Court charged after two police pursuits in Coonamble.

About 4.20pm on Monday, officers attached to the Orana Mid-Western Police District attempted to stop a green Mitsubishi Utility on Baradine Road, Coonamble.
Police allege the driver failed to stop, before officers commenced a pursuit.

They followed the car for a short distance before terminating the pursuit due to safety concerns.
About 10.35pm the same day, officers sighted the vehicle on Castlereagh Street, Coonamble, where they attempted to stop it.
The driver failed to stop, and a pursuit was again initiated, however was terminated due to safety concerns.
A short time later the vehicle was located bogged by officers patrolling Back Gular Road, where a 35-year-old man was arrested and taken to Coonamble Police Station.
Police allege the man had a 12-year-old child in the car at the time of the pursuits.
He was charged with two counts of police pursuit - not stop - drive at speed and two counts of drive motor vehicle during disqualification period.
The man was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Tuesday.
