The Bureau of Meteorology's (BoM) seven-day forecast as of Wednesday morning predicted a 70 per cent chance of up to six millimetres (mm) of rain falling on Thursday morning and afternoon.
For the rest of the period the BoM was forecasting "mostly sunny" and "sunny" days.
