The Coonamble centre is one of 158 grassroots sports club across the country to share in more than $520,000 from the latest round of the Coles Little Athletics Community Fund.
Coonamble Little Athletics' President Maureen Nalder said the grant will help get its athletes and volunteers back on track after a tough year.
"The grant will allow us to purchase new discuses, javelins, shot puts, an electric starting pistol and equipment for Tiny Tots," she said.
"It will have a huge impact to our centre and the community.
"The last few years have been hard for our club with the drought.
"The mental health of our community has always been an important part of Little Athletics so being able to provide new and improved equipment to our athletes and volunteers will be amazing and will provide a much-needed boost in spirits."
Coles State General Manager Ivan Slunjski said Coles was pleased to support Coonamble's budding athletes and parent volunteers.
"We know it's been a difficult six-months for everyone involved in community sport, particularly little athletes," Mr Slunjski said.
"We hope news of this grant will give their athletes, families and volunteers a morale boost ahead of the new season," he said.
