Families are being nudged about having "outings" in Dubbo shopping centres during the COVID-19 pandemic and the NSW government urged not to lock down the state again.

Users of the Daily Liberal's Facebook page are still scolding people who are not social distancing in Dubbo but also looking at the big picture which involves outbreaks of the coronavirus in Victoria and NSW.
Social distancing became a hot topic last week after visitors called out Dubbo residents for being "too relaxed".

Users of this newspaper's Facebook page did not disagree. They labelled offenders "selfish, irresponsible, ignorant and disrespectful".
Their concerns have prompted others to suggest the ways and means of getting Dubbo and NSW through the pandemic.
"Maybe people need to stop unnecessary travel and stop making Bunnings and shopping centres family outings," Greg Blu Mooring wrote.
"People seem happy to gather in large groups."

Melburnian Jo Murphy posted: "So many families wandering around. Stay at home. The sooner everyone wakes up the faster we will be back on track."
Debra Bonnici and Lucille Blanch reported on the Daily Liberal Facebook page of Victorians travelling through NSW and Dubbo.
Sue Bellamy told of social distancing not happening "in Orange either".
"I don't understand why whole families need to be downtown at once," she wrote.
Jodi M Andriske looked beyond social distancing.
"There is talk of locking NSW down again, she wrote.
"Close all borders. Lock down all hotspot suburbs in Sydney, but don't lock down the whole state."
Tim Gratton advised "close off Sydney.... happy days" while Andrew Walden wrote "..close the borders and restrict people's movements in hotspots".
