Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the annual winter markets at Lazy River Estate had to be cancelled, but organisers decided to change things up a bit this year and hold them virtually over the June Long Weekend.
Customers were able to visit the Lazy River Estate website page which directed them to all the stall holders social media accounts and sites.
There were about 50 stall holders from across the region involved, including as far away as Canberra.
Events and Functions supervisor at Lazy River Estate, Prue Murray said they were very blessed to have so many businesses offering their products.
Ms Muray markets always have such a great response from customers and stall holders so they wanted to keep that spirit alive with the virtual event.
"Even though we weren't able to host them we really wanted to bring together those small businesses and help in any way we could...," she explained.
"The response we had on social media and from the stall holders was really amazing. They really loved working with us and we loved getting to know them in this capacity."
Now that the virtual markets are over, Lazy River Estate staff are now looking forward to hopefully holding the much-loved December Christmas markets.
"We've had so much, engagement, encouragement and interest for our Christmas market," Ms Murray said.
"We're planning for the markets to be on and for it to be bigger than ever."
But in the meantime, Lazy River Estate staff are preparing to open their cafe from June 27.
The cafe will be on on Saturdays and Sundays. To find out more please visit www.lazyriverestate.com.au
