Lake Burrendong is once again open for water based recreation facitilities, but not for overnight campers and non essential travellers.

Reflections, which runs Lake Burrendong tourist park, announced last week that the dam is again open to day pass and annual pass holders.
"We wish to advise that following consultation with WaterNSW, from Friday, May 8 the following parks which are adjacent to WaterNSW dams will be allowing access to day pass and annual pass holders for the purposes of undertaking water based recreation activities such as fishing, water skiing and boating," A spokesperson for Reflections said.
These parks are Copeton Waters, Lake Keepit, Lake Glenbawn, Lake Burrendong, Mookerawa Waters, Cudgegong River, Wyangala Waters and Burrinjuck Dam.
"A limited number of park amenities, adjacent to boat ramps, will be open for use by visitors, however all dining facilities and kiosks remain closed at this time," the spokesperson said.
Eligible visitors will be asked to register their entry to the park at the main office on the day of entry and are not permitted to camp overnight under any circumstances.
"As we re-open the parks in this capacity, the safety and security of our guests and staff continues to be our highest priority."
Park users are requested to observe government social distancing regulations for the safety of our staff and other park users.
