TWO women remain in hospital following an overnight police pursuit through Dubbo which ended with a vehicle crashing into a tree.

At 11.45pm on Sunday a vehicle was observed on Cobra Street allegedly travelling in excess of the signposted 60km/h speed limit.
"Police attempted to stop the vehicle and it didn't so a pursuit was called," Detective Chief Inspector Denise Godden said.
"Four minutes later the vehicle collided with a median strip on Darling Street and then collided with a large tree near Wingewarra Street."
There were were four females in the car with two, a 31-year-old and a 20-year-old, transported by ambulance to Dubbo Hospital for treatment.
The 31-year-old woman, who was the driver of the vehicle, had leg and facial injuries.
While the 20-year-old woman had sternum injuries.
At this stage there is no further information on the other two women in the vehicle.
No charges have been laid at this stage.
