The funding is part of a $9 million justice upgrade stimulus package.
Wellington Courthouse will also receive $30,000 to improve fire compliance while Narromine Courthouse will receive $5,000 for general maintenance.

Member for the Dubbo Electorate Dugald Saunders said the tender and planning approval processes will be accelerated during COVID-19 and local companies and suppliers would be prioritised.

The works will be undertaken during a time when there are reduced court sittings in place, allowing fewer disruptions and works able to be completed faster.
