"Some people still need to present to the clinic in person, but for others we are really excited to now be able to support them over the phone or by video," Marathon Health's portfolio manager of primary health services Shellie Burgess said.
Ms Burgess also referred residents to Dubbo's after-hours GP telephone service which was "proving crucial to residents" who needed medical advice outside of business hours.
"We urge people to use this service if they have any non-emergency concerns and need medical advice from a local GP," she said.
The after-hours services, funded through the Western NSW Primary Health Network, provide medical attention for patients who are unable to wait to see their regular GP during surgery hours.
The telephone service, on 6884 2100, is available between 6pm and 8am on week nights, and across weekends and public holidays.
The clinic is open on weekends and most public holidays between 2pm and 5.45pm. Call 6884 9739 before attending.
