About 2am on Sunday police will allege two men broke into a business on Victoria Street in the city's west and stole two motorcycles and accessories.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District were notified and started an investigation.
Following inquiries, officers were conducting patrols in the area when they spotted the two men allegedly pushing the motorcycles on Young Street.
The men were arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station.
The 37-year-old man was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal, possess housebreaking implements, carry cutting weapon upon apprehension, and goods suspected stolen given other not entitled.
He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Tuesday.
The 41-year-old man was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal, and two counts of possess prohibited drug.
He was given strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Dubbo Local Court in May.
