Police say one of the most commonly asked questions is; 'can I go boating, or, can I go fishing?'
Their answer is, yes, if you follow correct self-isolation directions and have a reasonable excuse for doing so such as for transport, fishing or exercise.
Another commonly asked question relating to the COVID-19 restrictions in NSW according to police, is if people are able to visit their significant other.
Police say, although the restrictions differ from state to state, visiting your boyfriend/girlfriend in NSW falls under 'caring', meaning it is classified as a reasonable excuse.
This means you can visit your partner, however self-isolation rules still apply including one visitor per household.
