The state of the art facility was funded in part by both Dubbo Regional Council and the state government and will be the new staging ground for the club's increasingly impressive roster of talented cyclists and coaches.
Cycling Club president Matthew Gilbert said the unveiling was a well attended capstone to a huge workload and it was 'nice to have it tied up'.

"We've worked with a lot of people over a very, very long time to make this happen," Gilbert said.
"We've had support from the council and the state government and the members of our executive like Jason Farr and Gus Dawson have worked really hard to make the club what it is and to get us to this point."
The track is a fitting home for the club, who were recently recognised for the strong results and overall organisation.
"We were voted the number one cycling club in all of Australia as recently as last November, so things are going good for us and that's down to those men in the executive and our coaches and riders who work incredibly hard," Gilbert said.
"Now we have a facility that is to the highest standard as well, that's a facility that's been rated for international events, UCI invitationals, anything we could think of, we don't have to go searching, we've got a very, very high level velodrome right here."
"Without a doubt, it's the best track outside of the capital cities, it's a centre for everything cycling in Dubbo."
While Gilbert wasn't sure what events would come to the track and when, he said that the club's prospective nationals team had already given the track rave reviews after a demonstration on opening night.
"It was really pleasing to get that feedback, there was not one negative common," Gilbert said.
"We've had multiple time Australian champions riding on here and even guys like Peter Tomlinson, who'll probably be commentating at the Olympics in Tokyo, he gave it his tick of approval, so it's very good."
"it's a compliment to everyone involved."
The track itself, which outwardly appears to be a stark contrast to the club's former home at no. one oval in Victoria Park, but Gilbert says it has a lot of the same attributes that made the track such a strong training ground for the club's talent.
"It's a very fair track, similar to no. one, which is good for us and it's really maintained it's integrity."
Now, with the track ready and waiting, Gilbert says the trick is going to be getting stuck in and putting it to use, saying 'it's now time'.
While the new track features a trophy room for all of the club's accolades and successes, Gilbert says a large part of the group's continued success has been based around focusing on the future, rather than the past.
"The club's success doesn't focus too much on the past, we want to focus on the future and remain focused on opportunity," Gilbert said.
"We've got a really strong culture and ethos, I think and it's a commitment to quiet confidence in a lot of ways."
"There's a lot of work still to go with our team, which I think is one of the best teams and provides the best training, so we're going to stay focused on that."
