A free information session providing advice on how guests can apply for a 2020 Churchill Fellowship will be held in Dubbo.
The Australian award will offer people an opportunity to travel overseas and investigate a topic they are passionate about.
A Churchill Fellowship is a "unique" Australian award that supports people from diverse backgrounds while they explore an issue of their choosing, anywhere in the world.
In 2018, Dubbo coachbuilder Robert Siemsen received a Fellowship and visited the UK to further his understanding of the traditional craft of automotive coachbuilding.
In 2016, Dubbo truck driver and road safety advocate Rod Hannifey received the NRMA-ACT Road Safety Trust Churchill Fellowship which he used to research heavy vehicle road safety practices in the UK, the United States and Canada.
The information session requires bookings. For more information and to register, visit www.churchillfellowships.com.au
