The event that saw Tyla Comerford and Rose Broughton bid goodbye to their long locks raised a total of $9679, Miss Comerford said.
The majority of the funds will go to children's charity Variety, with a portion shared with the Dubbo Show Society, she said.
The women's tresses have also been sent to Variety to be made into wigs for children who don't have hair.
Miss Comerford, the current titleholder, said she and Ms Broughton, the 2017 Dubbo Showgirl, appreciated the community support.
Major sponsors included Tania and David Gemmell from Gemmell Plumbing, Regional Auto Supplies, Dubbo Show Society and Gallagher accountancy firm.
"We were absolutely overwhelmed with the support we received, we weren't expecting it," Miss Comerford said.
About 70 people attended the fundraiser at the Pastoral Hotel on February 8.
