John is set to perform for his 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,' tour at Carrington Park, Bathurst next week, Wednesday January 22, and it may be the last chance to see him live for a lot of us.
John is one of the most highly acclaimed and successful solo artists, having produced, with his songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, some of the greatest songs of our time including 'Rocket Man', 'Your Song', 'Daniel' and 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road'.
He has achieved 38 gold and 31 platinum albums, has sold more than 300 million records worldwide, and holds the record for the biggest selling single of all time.
He is the third most successful artist in the history of the American charts, behind Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
The Bathurst performance is currently sold out. More than 20,000 will be attending.
