Matthew Allan Cameron, of Cookamidgera, drove around several towns while his licence was disqualified, stole a car and led police on a high-speed pursuit between Yeoval and Geurie on October 4.
During the pursuit, court documents revealed the 36-year-old drove his vehicle at police and into two fences and two farm gates.
In the weeks leading up to the police pursuit, court documents revealed Cameron stole a Toyota Hilux from a Baldry property on August 23. He was also seen repeatedly driving while disqualified multiple times around Yeoval and Forbes.
In Dubbo Local Court on Tuesday magistrate Gary Wilson convicted Cameron of a string of offences including damaging property, stealing, possessing various drugs, causing a police pursuit and multiple counts of driving while disqualified.
Cameron was disqualified from driving for another three years and sentenced to a total of two years, seven months and 24 days in jail. He will be eligible for parole in September 2021.
