Mr Cox has been awarded the Tom Spence Service Champion Award and the Marketing Award for an Individual.
The win was not a surprise to those at Battery World.
Mr Cox is heavily involved in the local community.

He has set a maintenance reschedule for the Royal Flying Doctors' vehicles where he routinely drives out - in his own time and at no charge - to check all their batteries are fully operational so they start first time when they are needed in an emergency.
The award was named after Battery World patriarch Tom Spence who had been with the company since its inception 21 years ago.
Mr Spence died last year, but Mr Cox said 'The Godfather' of the brand always had time to lend an ear.
"When I told him, I was leaving the Battery World National Office and heading out to take on my own store he really set expectations for me in the business. He said to me, 'No matter how good you believe your customer service is, you can always come up with one extra thing you can do to add more value to your customers'. So, this win is really close to my heart," Mr Cox said.
The Dubbo boss said he was part of the community and he never forgot it.
"Our constant need to be better tomorrow than we were today has driven ferocious success in our business," Mr Cox said.
He received his award in front of 200 people during the recent Battery World National Conference in Fiji.
