Dubbo's Amaroo Hotel was one of the six removed from the list after a drop in violent incidents over the last six months.
The hotel was originally placed on the list in November of last year after a reported 15 violent incidents took place there over the year prior to it's addition.
According to Liqour and Gaming NSW Deputy Secretary Paul Newson, the reported number of incidents in the latest findings represent the best results in several years and part of a larger downward trend in the long term.
"Our state's hotels, clubs and bars recognise that running a violent venue is not just bad for patrons; it's also bad for business," Mr Newson said.
"For just the second time since the scheme began in 2008, there are no venues in the highest level one category, while the number of level two venues has fallen from 10 to six."
Only venues that have had eighteen or more violent incidents in the year prior can be placed on the list in the level one category.
"These results indicate our state's licensed venues are now safer than they've ever been.
"It's great news that people can enjoy night outs with far lower risk of alcohol-related violence.
"The NSW Government has taken strong action and worked closely with industry to achieve these highly encouraging results."
Mr Newson claimed the 'violent venues' listing and three strikes schemes are the source of the fewer violent incidents, and functioned as a motivator for venues to eliminate violence.
"This continuing decline and the removal of nine venues from the latest list show this longer-term trend is continuing," Mr Newson said.
According to the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research, alcohol related non-domestic assaults of the sort that the violent venues list tracks have been dropping by about seven percent each year.
"We have more work to do and some venues need to take action to curb excessive consumption and alcohol-related violence and anti-social behaviour in and around their premises."
Being removed from the list will mean the Amaroo Hotel will no longer face restrictions around serving alcohol up to closing time and will no longer have to cease serving drinks in glasses after midnight.
Owners and operators at the Amaroo Hotel were contacted for comment, but were unable to respond in time for publication.
