The Rotary Club of Dubbo Macquarie will open the doors at the Dubbo Showground at 8am on Saturday.
Book Fair coordinator Peter English said he expected four to five people to be waiting, in the hopes of getting the first dibs at the books.
It's the 10th time the book fair has been held. It will run from 8am until 4pm on Saturday and then 9am until 1pm on Sunday.

Entry will be a gold coin donation and all proceeds will be split between the Royal Flying Doctor Service Dubbo support group and the Royal North Shore Hospital's Bill Walsh Cancer Research Centre.
Mr English said he was hoping to crack $100,000 this year. To reach the target, $20,000 has to be raised from the book fair across the two days.
Last year, the event raised $14,000, but with growing community support each year, Mr English said he was confident the goal could be met.
It took until about lunch time on Friday to unpack and prepare all of the books. Only a few hundred were left over from last year. Nearly all of those that will be available have come from the community in the last 12 months.
Mr English said it also included some rare books on Dubbo's history which were no longer in print.
The book fair coordinator said he was very grateful for all the support the book fair received from people in Dubbo.
In the last 10 years more than 250,000 books have been donated to the rotary club for the book fair.
