Can Assist held their Dubbo Autumn Gardens on Sunday, April 24. Secretary Fitz McKay said between 600 to 700 people attended the fundraiser.
Money raised by Can Assist Dubbo helps cancer patients in the region with practical items such as their transport costs.

Eight gardens were open to the public. There were also talks by landscape architects Alex Dalglish and Olivia Turner, as well as garden owner Janelle Stonestreet who spoke about her native garden.
Ms McKay said the talks were fantastic.
Twenty quality stalls and a vintage car display were also part of one of the displays.
A lot of effort when into the preparation of the fundraising event.
"There were 12 beautiful people who made 600 sandwiches and rolls in my living room. They spent three-and-a-half hours making them," Ms McKay said.
She said the volunteers were the backbone of the whole event.
Ms McKay also thanked all the organisations who helped out or donated.
There were seven prizes raffled off on the day. The winners were: Sam Lincoln, Vicky Leggatt, Andrew Perry, Lynn Miller, Melissa Thompson, Graham Stapleton and Anne Harmer.
