Emergency services were called to the crash on Sunny Corner Road, near Portland, about 3.35pm.
A woman and three girls - two aged four and the other aged six - were in the car at the time.
The six-year-old girl was taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
The woman and the two four-year-old girls were taken to Westmead Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead respectively.
Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit are conducting inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash, and are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.

YESTERDAY: Paramedics, police and fire crews are at the scene of an horrific car accident east of Bathurst where a child has been critically injured.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said the emergency retrieval helicopter would land at the scene within minutes.
The Western Advocate understands the crash is on the Sunny Corner Road near Portland but emergency services have been unable to confirm the exact location at this stage.
It is understood there were three people in the car - a woman aged in her 30s and two children.
It is believed one of the children has been critically injured while the second child is believed to have suffered minor injuries.
