The barnstorming front-rower has already highlighted a number of players he will look to in season 2019 and on Sunday one of those players certainly stood up.
Alex Ronayne, as he always does, took it on himself to lead the CYMS pack and didn't stop working and niggling the Glebe Burwood opposition during his time on the field during Sunday's Challenge Cup match.

The hard-working back-rower muscled up against the larger forwards of the Wolves and while he was a little overzealous at times he helped set the tone in the 38-12 win at Apex Oval.
His running battle with Glebe five-eighth Brock Pelligra was one of the highlights of the match and Ronayne received warm applause from the healthy crowd when he came off late on.
"Me and 'Akka' (Ronayne) have played plenty of footy together and he's certainly someone I look to to support me," Powyer said.
"Anytime I second guess myself he's always there to get me back on track and it's unreal, to be honest.
"I've got a lot of appreciation for Akka, as I do with 'Jenko' (Luke Jenkins) and 'Chap' (Jyie Chapman). I've been with them for a long time now."
The win on Sunday came in Powyer's first home game as captain-coach.
The 26-year-old has taken over from the highly-respected Tim Ryan and there was plenty of support in the stands for the new leader during the match.
"It was good to have all the old boys and the crowd come out for us," Powyer said.
