Its chief executive officer Dr Bill Phillips is keen to see a queue at Dubbo Visitor Information Centre at 8am on August 16 and September 1.
Adventurers picked up by Langley’s Coaches on August 16 will get to check out the “information, artworks, great coffee and food” at the Window on the Wetlands Centre in Warren, enjoy a guided tour of the Tiger Bay Wetlands and learn about the “cotton ginning process and more” from Auscott.
“They will also hear all about Warren's early European history and finish the day with a guided stroll around the Beemunnel Aboriginal Reserve,” Dr Phillips said.
“Then on September 1 there will be another adventure tour, this time taking in the Berida Woolshed near Collie for a tour and morning cuppa, before proceeding on to Warren for lunch, the wetlands walk, and talks and walks about early European heritage and the Beemunnel Aboriginal Reserve.”
The Macquarie RiverSmart Committee aims to offer the tours throughout the year with “each season changing the attractions to give people lots of different experiences”.
“These days little country towns have to find a point of difference and we know Warren has that in spades,” Dr Phillips said.

The $95 per person cost of joining the tour at Dubbo covers transport, morning tea, lunch and guided tours.
People who join it at Warren will pay $40.
Langley’s Coaches will pick up tour participants in Dubbo at 8am and return them by 5pm.
