John Smith and David Brown led C grade with 22/25 each in the 25-target eye opener while John Sidoti and Errol Tucker were tied on 23/25 with Ken Fuller 24/25.
The 50-target championship was won by John Sidoti (45/50) from Errol Tucker (44/50) in B grade and Kyle Walton led C grade with 42/50 from John Smith (39/50) in the continued blustery conditions.
The 25-target handicap went to Ken Fuller 23/25 +3, followed by Errol Tucker (22/25 +3) and John Smith (21/25 +4).
President Errol Tucker, John Sidoti and Ken Fuller were all tied for the High Gun on 89/100.
Sunday’s trap shoot was well attended under cooler but windy conditions. Mick Miranda, Les Clarke, Errol Tucker, Peter Jones, Geoff Luck, Ashley Waugh and Ken Fuller all scored possibles in the 20-target double barrel eye-opener.
The second event was a 25-target double barrel cash divide. Possibles were recorded by Errol Tucker, Terry Ramien and Dave Hammond in AA grade.
Geoff Luck, Ross Hill and Garth Hosking were all tied on 24/25 in A grade; John Sidoti led B grade with 25/25 from Ben Luck on 23/25. Mick Miranda and Marcus Bruce won the C grade section both on 24/25.
Twenty-five single barrel targets followed with Errol Tucker scoring 24/25 from Michael Forrest 23/25 in AA grade. Geoff Luck and Robert Hosking were tied on 23/25 in A grade, B grade went to John Sidoti 23/25 from Ben Luck 20/25, while Paul Cole and Marcus Bruce led C grade tied on 21/25 from John Smith and Mick Miranda both on 20/25.
The main event was the annual Deauville Doubles Championship from 18m with a draw for partners.
Marcus Bruce and Terry Ramien were successful with a perfect score of 15 from 15 pairs with Ben Luck and Kevin Heywood runners up on 14/15.
Overall High Gun for the day went to Errol Tucker with a great score of 69/70.
