While Clint Lundholm will have a strong team go around at Dubbo Turf Club's Christmas meeting on Saturday, most interest could well be around the trials run after the day's last race.

As well as having six chances go around in Saturday's meeting, the Dubbo trainer will have four horses trialling later in the afternoon.
Among those are Activation, Amulet Street and Volterra, relative newcomers to his stables who are all potential Country Championships runners next year.

Activation won this year's Western Districts heat for former trainer Kody Nestor and has had just one start for Lundholm at Wagga since a stable switch while Amulet Street and Volterra are yet to race for Lundholm after arriving from the glamour stables of James Cumming and Chris Waller respectively.
"Activation bombed the start at Wagga the other day and came out six lengths behind the second-last horse and then got beat by six lengths so he went super but he just missed the start," Lundholm said.
"We've changed some gear around and hopefully if all goes well on Saturday we'll take him down to Randwick on January 1 and there's a Highway event for him.
"Amulet Street is an ex-Godolphin galloper we bought for the Championships and he's a long way off that now and he's still a maiden but he's had eight starts for six seconds and a third and he's got great form around him in the city and provincials.
"We're stoked to have him and he's come up through his preparation well and the trial is about having him right for first start.
"Volterra won a trial the other day and he's a big, gross horse. He was a $1.6 million yearling and then we picked him up online."
With plenty of others also targeting the Country Championships and numbers in the stables continuing to grow, it's an exciting time for Lundholm and his team.
While some more wins in recent times would have been ideal - Lundholm has had just two wins but 10 placings in the past month - the hope is things will turn in the weeks and months ahead.
"We've got some really nice horses back in now and they're progressing well so I think they're all about to fire at the one time," Lundholm said.
"If you look at the stats there's a hell of a lot of placings and not as many winners as you'd like but it's about a bit of luck and once that changes I think we'll turn some of those placings into wins."
Lundholm won't be at his home track on Saturday as he'll instead make the trek to Moree to race serial placegetter Angie Emm and Maramoti.
At Dubbo, Lundholm will be represented by Break Over, Obey, Avalicious, Blackadder, Jamella, and My Shiromi.
There was little joy at the barrier draw for Lundholm and his Dubbo hopes will need a little luck after only Blackadder drew inside barrier 12.
"I was hoping for some better draws because I thought I had some really nice chances," he said.
"They're still going to be great chances but they'll just need a little luck from those alleys."
Racing starts 1.51pm.
