A woman will face court next month charged after $10,000 worth of ice was seized during a vehicle stop in Wellington.

About 4.45am on Thursday, officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District stopped a white Toyota Camry on Marsh Street for the purpose of a random breath test, returning a negative result.

After speaking with the driver, officers searched the vehicle and allegedly located two packages, believed to be 11.2g of methylamphetamine, two knives and just over $4000 in cash.
The packages have an estimated potential street value of approximately $10,000.
The driver a 25-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Wellington Police Station.
She was charged with supply prohibited drug, custody of knife in public place and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.
The Wellington woman was given conditional bail to appear at Wellington Local Court on December 21.
